Virtual Meeting Instructions

We are adding a virtual component to our upcoming union meeting. Please follow the instructions below to ensure a smooth and secure experience:

1. Join the Zoom Meeting:

2. Waiting Room Protocol:
After logging in, you will be placed in a virtual waiting room. A union officer serving as the meeting facilitator will admit participants individually.

3. Display Name & Camera Requirement:
To maintain the integrity of the meeting:

  • Your full name must be displayed in your Zoom profile. (how to change your Zoom name)

  • Your camera must remain on for the entire meeting.
    Anyone without their camera on or with an unrecognizable display name will not be admitted or may be removed.

4. Speaking & Participation:
To keep things orderly:

  • Please remain muted unless called on to speak.

  • Use the chat box for any questions or comments. These will be addressed during a designated Q&A period when the floor is open.

5. Recording Notice:
This meeting will not be recorded. Attendees are prohibited from recording or distributing meeting content.

6. Code of Conduct:
All members are expected to maintain respect and decorum throughout the meeting, just as they would in person. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will result in removal.
