Join TCU/IAM’s Women of Fierce for the 2025 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

As we look forward to the Fall Season, I want to take a moment to highlight an important cause close to many of our hearts. October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to recognize the strength and resilience of those affected by breast cancer, honor survivors, and support vital education and research efforts.

This past June at our Local Chairmen Conference in Las Vegas, we shared highlights from last year’s Race for the Cure events and explored ways to grow our participation this year.

As part of that continued commitment, FIERCE, TCU’s Women’s Committee, is proud to encourage all Locals to get involved in Susan G. Komen's Walk and Race for the Cure events happening throughout September and October.

Whether you choose to form a team, participate in a walk or race, donate, or simply spread the word, every action makes a difference.

Here's how your Local members can get involved in the NYC Race for the Cure events: Special Invitation: Walk for the Cure – Naumburg Bandshell, Central Park, New York

If you're in the NY/NJ region, we invite your Local to join National Representative Katrina Coleman, Executive Director of Industry Relations Allison Parker, and Communications Specialist Taylor Calavetinos, who will serve as team captains for the Walk for the Cure in Central Park, New York, on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

If your Local plans to participate:

Please contact Katrina Coleman at Colemank@tcunion.org with an approximate headcount by August 15th.
